Portage Collegiate's looking for a new leader of their boy's hockey team.

PCI Saints' hockey team head coach Jo-Anne Clark-Gillespie is taking over as Athletic Director at the school and her first order of business is to find a new head coach for the PCI Trojans' hockey club.

"We need someone to step in and take on that responsibility for the team. The season starts in September and runs through the winter into February," says Clark-Gillespie. "So we're looking for someone who can give the time, and who's schedule allows them to be available. The schedule kind of varies from during the week to some weekends, so we need someone that can give their time and put forth a good effort to coaching our boy's hockey team."

The Trojans have their game and playoff ice booked already, and a few practices in the morning during the week. The head coach would be able to get more ice time if it's available.

"We'd really like to have someone in place by the middle of July," adds Clark-Gillespie. "We really want to have everything in place for sure when we come back to school in September."

Interested applicants can send a resume to Clark-Gillespie at jclark-gillespie@plpsd.mb.ca.
