The Portage Youth Soccer Association (PYSA) is holding their final in-person registration tonight in Portage la Prairie.

It's from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Stride Place. Registration is for players born from 1999 to 2013.

"I think we'll have some good numbers this year," says Chad Green, Technical Director for PYSA. "We're just getting going with registration. We're doing something new with online registration, which I know a lot of people will be happy about. We should have that going in a couple of days, and once that's done we'll have a better figure of our numbers. We had one in-person registration already and our second is tonight."

PYSA was down to three board members back in September of 2016, but Green says that's changed.

"We have a full board now so things are looking good for the upcoming year. I think we have more people on our board than we have since I started, so that's kind of nice."
