The Town of Arborg started off its Canada Day weekend Friday with a ribbon-cutting ceremony for new walking bridges.

He says the bridges connect the walking paths that run along the river. One of the bridges at one end of town connects the community with Heritage Village as well as the campground nearby. Their walking trails are all connected now, and he stresses how nice the network of trails is. Sigurdson notes the ceremony was very well-attended including some school classes.

He notes the company that built the bridges is Swivel, and adds anyone wanting a bridge from them is sure to get a well-built one.
