Dan Mazier has been nominated as the new Conservative Party of Canada Candidate for 2019 Federal Election. He will be running for Dauphin-Swan River-Neepawa. The current Member of Parliament, Robert Sopuck, decided in May of this year that he would not be seeking re-election. Mazier explains that after careful consideration, and the realization that his skills and knowledge gained through his policy creation experience and his role as the President of Keystone Agricultural Producers, that he could do it.

Mazier explains that he is looking forward to getting to know everyone that will be involved in his campaign, and notes good things have already begun. Mazier adds voter engagement and voter turnout are going to be a few of his key focuses as he believes there is a disconnect there that needs to be addressed.

The next federal election takes place on October 21st, 2019.
