Stonewall RCMP have recovered a 2019 Polaris Ranger that was stolen from a business in the RM of Rockwood.

Police say surveillance footage showed that on March 16th, just after midnight, a pick-up truck and a front-end loader were both taken from the business. The report came in at 7 a.m., and officers responded. Down the road from the business on Road 78 North, police found the loader, as well as a damaged side-by-side. The 2019 Polaris Ranger, originally red, was painted black. Police were able to find the owner.

The truck was still on the property, stuck in snow, in a gravel pit. The suspect was sleeping inside.

The 22-year-old from the RM of Rockwood is facing charges of Break and Enter, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime and Possession of Break-In Instruments. He is set to appear in court on June 20th, 2022.

Stonewall RCMP continue to investigate.
