There is a new reality for Canadians: nearly one in two will be diagnosed with cancer. In Manitoba, Cancer Care Manitoba expects a 50% increase in diagnoses over the next ten years. Skin cancer is one of the most common and preventable types of cancer. The Canadian Cancer Society encourages you to follow their Sun Sense Program and check the UV index daily because you can easily burn within fifteen minutes.
