The Manitoba U-18 AAA Hockey League is allowing teams to begin practicing once again. The announcement was made last weekend and the Central Plains Capitals players couldn't be more excited to return to the ice.

Head coach Len Dupasquier says things will be looking quite a bit different from a typical practice. He says the players will be split into two groups of ten and each will use half of the ice with a divider in between. Each group will be designated to a specific locker room as well, according to Dupasquier.

The coach adds it will be mandatory for players to wear masks on the ice during the practice as well. The Capitals will be practicing twice a week, for the time being, if restrictions change, the league says it will be looking to get teams into exhibition games but that is still in limbo.
