Manitoba is reporting another 302 new cases of COVID-19 today. That brings the total number of cases since the start of the pandemic to 71,888.

The province would not say how many Omicron cases Manitoba has as of Tuesday, saying there will be a press conference and bulletin released Wednesday.

Out of the new cases, 230 people are fully vaccinated, 60 people are not vaccinated and 12 people are partially vaccinated.

New cases include:

  • 200 in Winnipeg
  • 47 in Southern Health
  • 30 in Prairie Mountain
  • 14 in Interlake-Eastern
  • 11 in Northern Health

Manitoba's five-day test rate is 8.6 per cent. The province says 3,485 tests were completed Monday.

There are 2,316 active cases and 68,206 recoveries.

The number of COVID-19 deaths in Manitoba remains at 1,366.

There are 133 people in hospital with COVID-19, including 84 active cases. Out of the active cases, there are 44 people who are not vaccinated, 36 people who are fully vaccinated, and four people who are partially vaccinated.

There are 26 people in intensive care, with 19 of those people having active cases of the virus. Out of the active cases, all but two people are not vaccinated.
