Interim Premier Kelvin Goertzen
The Manitoba Progressive Conservative Caucus has chosen Kelvin Goertzen, MLA for Steinbach, to take over as the interm Premier of Manitoba.
Goertzen has served as the MLA for Steinbach since 2003. He has served as a Minister of Education and a Minister of Health, Seniors and Active Living previously. He was appointed the Minister of Legislative and Public Affairs, and Deputy Premier of Manitoba at the beginning of this year.
