Santa Claus may be coming to town later this month, but time is ticking to ensure the big man has time to write back to you.

Canada Post says to ensure Santa has enough time, they have set a deadline of this evening, Friday, December 9th, to submit your letters.

In Portage la Prairie, you will have until 5 p.m. on Friday to drop off your letters at the Canada Post location at 9 Saskatchewan Ave W and 6 p.m. at Shoppers Drug Mart located at 24 E Saskatchewan Ave E.

There were reportedly 1.5 million letters shipped from Canada Post to Kris Kringle and his elves last year.

Christmas letters must be mailed to Saint Nicholas at this address:

Postage is not necessary to write Santa from the Great White North. However, to hear back, you must enclose a return address.
