Our Farm Greenhouse is going to open up this spring season.

Manager Shea Doherty says the doors will indeed be opened to the public.

"So, we got all sorts of little goodies that are blooming and tomatoes are just sowing and peppers are already up and going, and flowers are busting at the seams," says Doherty. "Of course, at the time, we're not going to be opening for another month as most greenhouses. When you look outside today, I know you're feeling down. But, you know what, it's going to come around. So, get ready for it."

He notes if there are restrictive laws still in place at that time, greenhouses will be making curbside delivery or pickup. Doherty says they're still four weeks away from the opening, and depending on the law, they will be allowed to have a certain amount of people in as grocery stores are operating.

"Greenhouses, of course, are an essential shop because we do sell vegetable starts, whether that be your melons, tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, whichever you have it," adds Doherty. "So, we are going to be in that category. Keep looking up. I know you're cooped up inside right now. Keep watching all our greenhouse posts. We'll keep encouraging you. Keep going!"
