Yesterday in the early evening Portage la Prairie RCMP were called to a business on Sissions Drive where a Loss Prevention Officer (LOP) had tried to stop three suspects who were leaving the store with two full shopping carts of unpaid items. Amidst the chaos, the LOP was hit by the suspect's vehicle while attempting to flee the scene. The RCMP swiftly located the suspected vehicle and arrested a 26-year-old male. RCMP investigated further, which led to them finding the other two suspects, who were then arrested.

26-year-old Cyril David Beaulieu of Brandon Manitoba was arrested and charged with Robbery with a Weapon, Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle, Fail to Stop at the Scene of an Accident, Theft, and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime.

28-year-old Troy Brendan Beaulieu of Dakota Tipi First Nation was arrested and charged with Robbery with a Weapon, Theft, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, Fail to Comply with conditions x 2 and Resisting Arrest.

29-year-old Holly Janine Mousseau of Portage La Prairie was arrested and charged with Robbery with a Weapon, Theft, and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime.
