An Investigation is underway after Manitoba First Nations Police caught wind of a teen being allegedly sexually exploited in the Sandy Bay First Nation Community.

According to police, they received a notice on August 23 of a possible sexual abuse incident regarding a 15-year-old performed by a construction company worker conducting business on the First Nation.

Sandy Bay's Band Council subsequently called for the quick removal of the construction company from the area.

The investigation into this case is ongoing.
