The Manitoba Agricultural Museum has announced they're making some changes to their scheduling due to the unfolding impact of the Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Executive Director Anaïs Biernat outlines what's going on.

"Because of the present uncertainty about the COVID-19 virus, the Manitoba Agricultural Museum Board has decided to postpone the annual general meeting that was supposed to be Saturday, March, 21st."

She says they're going to wait and see how the situation develops before they reschedule the AGM.

In the meantime, the museum is still open to the public.

"We are taking any precautions that we can, especially with handwashing and following recommendations. We do not have any events planned in the next few weeks. So, we do not have to take action on that yet."

They will assess the situation further before making decisions on other events.
