There are no new cases of COVID-19 reported in Manitoba Thursday. As a result, the total number of lab-confirmed positive and probable positive cases in Manitoba remains at 325.

Officials continue to monitor 16 active cases, while 302 Manitobans have recovered from the novel Coronavirus so far. Currently no one is in hospital due to COVID-19 in the province, while the number of related deaths remains at 7.

An additional 503 laboratory tests were performed on Tuesday and 512 tests on Wednesday. This brings the total number of tests performed since early February to 64,329.

Public health officials have released further information regarding a positive COVID-19 case announced Monday. That person had been on a series of Air Canada flights between June 18 and 23.

The latest info indicates people in rows 19 to 25 on flight AC 295 from Winnipeg to Vancouver on June 18, and rows 24 to 30 on flight AC 259 from Toronto to Winnipeg on June 23 are considered a close contact of the patient and officials say they are at risk of exposure.These individuals are advised to self-isolate for 14 days following the flight and monitor for symptoms. As well, Public Health advises passengers on these flights, but not in the affected seats, to also self-monitor for symptoms and self-isolate if they develop.
