A no parking zone will soon be in place on Queen Avenue in Portage, just west of the hospital entrance.

 

City Council gave a by-law first reading last night, after the Central RHA expressed safety concerns. They believe the parked cars interfere with sight-lines, causing a hazard.

 

Councillor Irvine Ferris believes this will address the RHA's concerns....
