February was 'I Love to Read' month across Canada. Ecole Crescentview School wrapped up the event with their "Closing Ceremonies" today. Teacher Danette Crevier describes the theme for the month.

"Our theme was the Olympics. We thought with the excitement of the Olympics we would try and draw in the reading with that. Today we're doing our wrap-up called our Closing Ceremonies. Classes have all had a country to study during the week so they're going to come in with their country's flag and present some information about their country."

Crevier added the students wore the Olympic colours and all learned the lyrics to the song, "I Believe", the theme song for the Vancouver Olympic Games.

I Love to Read Month is an event that is dedicated to the love of reading and being read to.
