The Child and Family Services of Central Manitoba Foundation carries momentum going into 2007.

Its financial report from last night's Annual General Meeting released a surplus of over 24 thousand dollars.  President Evelyn Currie is pleased to see such success, especially since the foundation is being restructured into two separate boards -- one focusing on the agency, the other on fundraising.

Because more and more families aren't able to fund their childrens' activities, Currie has noticed an increasing demand for programs funded by the foundation and agency.  This includes "Chance 2 Camp" and "Arron's Chance 2 Play Hockey".

Currie adds the programs have positively impacted the childrens' lives socially and educationally.
