You have probably seen the social media phenomenon known as Wordle.

It's the guessing game where you get six chances to correctly guess a five-letter word. If you guess the letter in the correct spot, the letter turns green. If you have the right letter, but it's in the wrong spot, it's yellow. Miss completely, and it turns grey. There is a new word chosen every day, and people often share their results online.

Joyce Schrader plays the game every day, and has for many months. For her, it's a family event.

"My daughter lives in the Western part of the province and her and I usually get up pretty early, 6:30 in the morning, as she's getting ready for work," says Schrader. "We each play our Wordle and we send it to one another and that's how we start our day."

On Monday, March 21st, she received a result that very few people have received (legitimately). Joyce put in her regular word: 'THEIR'. She received five green letters. She got the answer in one try.

"This is really cool and nobody will believe me. But it happened!"

She would try different words when she first started playing, but since changing her starting word to 'THEIR', she feels her results had improved.

"Normally, it takes me three to four times, but I find that starting with that particular word, gives me some good clues," says Schrader. "I tried some other words, you know, that I use at first, the very first one, and I thought no, I'm not having as much success with that one."

Wordle was recently purchased by the New York Times for "seven figures" back in January. The game had been originally created by Josh Wardle, and it took the Internet by storm. You can play it here:

Many different versions of the game have been created, including Joyce's favourite: 'QUORDLE'. It's a game with four puzzles, and you get nine guesses. You can play that here.
