As Prairie Fusion Arts & Entertainment gears up for 2022, it’s ready to showcase as much as it can.

Executive director Stefanie Dunn says she’s very excited, noting the calendar for next year can even be a bit overwhelming. She says it’s nice to get back to having so many things on the go, as the past few years have seen quite the slowdown due to the COVID pandemic.

“We have an unbelievable lineup of workshops,” explains Dunn. “Our education for both visual and performing arts is going to continue and I'm just so excited to keep on having people come to our facility and experience what we have to offer.”

She mentions the return of Earth and Hyde returning for their leather clutch and tote workshop, as well as charcuterie board workshops, and a ladies workshop happening in March. She adds they’ll also be holding multiple performances throughout the new year.

“We have the royal MTC coming in February,” says Dunn. “We have Trevor Panczak in March, Jenn Beaupre in April, we have our first ever winter pride at the end of January and then we will be having our gala on May 5th.”

She notes they’re the only place large enough to host events like these with some of the restrictions in place.

“We always have a pretty wide variety of things on our plate,” says Dunn.” But, we just want to continue to give people opportunities to experience art in any way that we can.”
