The RCMP In Portage la Prairie arrested a man in the Provincial Court Office on December 2, 2022.
It took place at about 9:45 a.m., when police answered a call about a man who was in possession of drugs and had a knife at the courthouse.
He sought to enter the court building and when searched by Sheriffs, cocaine, methamphetamine, fentanyl, a knife and a quantity of cash were found on his person.
Frederick Roulette, 30-years-old, was placed under arrest.
Charges made to the man include:
- 3 counts of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking
- Carrying a Concealed Weapon
- Carrying a Weapon to a Public Meeting
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
- 2 counts of Fail to Comply
Police remanded him into custody.
