The Portage Minor Baseball Association (PMBA) has started registration for the upcoming season, and President Evan Pepper says it has been off to a quick start.

"Our registration is open until March 22. We're about halfway to the numbers we had last year, so it's been successful so far."

Pepper notes that PMBA works with kids from the age of 5 to 18.

PMBA had approximately 220 players take the field last season. Pepper adds, there is still lots of room to register for this summer.

"Go to any one of our social media platforms or to our website for registration info."

Pepper also expressed that they are working on getting things ready to play in the spring.

"We're really looking forward to a great season. Hopefully, we can get out on the fields early in May this year and run to the end of June."
