The RM of Grahamdale had a lot of damage caused by the high winds this past Wednesday. Reeve Clifford Halaburda weighs in.

"With our 100 km/hr winds, we had a lot damage with trees broken down on the hydro lines," says Halaburda. "People were out of power and buildings were damaged. It wasn't a very nice day out here. People were calling in to our office or got hold of our councillors reporting trees across the main roads that had to be cleaned up."

He says hydro lines were out leaving homeowners and businesses alike without power. All has since been restored, and the workers were all over it as usual, he adds. Halaburda notes his own property suffered damage when his portable garage was completely torn up.
