Rotary Club holds last meeting of their fiscal year

The Rotary Club of Portage la Prairie held their last meeting for the fiscal year of 2021-2022 on Tuesday, June 28th.

Rotary PR Director and past president Preston Meier says he is proud of the club's accomplishments throughout the year.

Meier points out that July 1st will be the start of the 2022-2022 year for the club and what they have on deck.

"We've got a lot of stuff planned," says Meier. "Everything from a bunch of fundraisers still coming up this fall. We know we're not post-COVID yet, but coming out of this and starting to meet as the club again. We are finally getting back to what the club could do as a group together, and we're pretty excited about that."

Meier adds that it is exciting for his group to look past COVID and start to schedule events as if it's 2019 again.
