The additional snowfall we've just received may mean more work, but it's also greeted with welcoming arms by snowmobilers. Club Snow President Tony McIvor outlines how preparations for the pastime are going.

"The guys have been out packing the trails and groomers have been out, so we've got a good base," explains McIvor. "This fresh snow is going to help us out for sure and fill in a few of those potholes, and stuff that were a little rough to drive over. And I think we're going to be able to salvage this season."

He says it looks great, and members are working hard to get the trails opened. McIvor acknowledges many are anxious to just get out there and ride off trail, but warns us that many unseen obstacles are hiding beneath the snow, including broken trees, rocks and plenty of debris. He adds they're advising people to stay on the trails and be cautious.
