The Town of Stonewall council has once again helped to sponsor a veterans' military service recognition book. Mayor Lockie McLean says the Legion participates in this project every year and they ask the town to come in as a sponsor, noting it's a four hundred dollar ad for Stonewall. McLean says council is very glad to help out, because the Legion does all kinds of good work in town. He adds whenever the Legion comes calling for help, Stonewall is quite happy to oblige.
