The Portage Terriers swapped a pair of forwards with the OCN Blizzard this afternoon. The Terriers are bringing in local forward Jaden Pashe along with Jordan Boyechko in exchange for Aiden Shumka and Jack Oleksuik.

Pashe is in his final year of MJHL eligibility and will have the opportunity to end his career very close to home. The forward has 37 total points in 91 MJHL contests over the past three seasons. Terriers head coach Blake Spiller describes Pashe as a quick and hard-working player.

Boyechko is a 2002 born player with just five MJHL games under his belt, however, he totalled 62 points in 48 games in his final season in the Manitoba U18 AAA Hockey League. The former Southwest Cougar played four games for OCN in what would've been his first full season in junior.

The Terriers are parting ways with two players who they acquired from the Winnipeg Blues prior to last season.
