Songstress Raine Hamilton is coming to the William Glesby centre tomorrow evening for the final coffee house performance of the artistic season.

Glesby Centre Executive Director Carolyn Gray says Hamilton plays folk style music and explains a bit about what you can expect to hear.

Executive Director Carolyn Gray

"Her voice is very strong, yet delicate, it's very pure. She hits beautiful high notes and she's been compared to Joni Mitchell. She does a lot of original stuff. She's quite extraordinary."

Hamilton will be accompanied by cellist Nat Felicitas for tomorrow night's performance. Gray notes she has worked with Felicitas in theatre productions in the past and says she is an amazing cellist, adding the two together will make for an extraordinary show.

Hamilton is currently touring across Canada and Gray says they're lucky to be able to have her perform at the Glesby.

Tickets are $20 and the show begins at 7:30 tomorrow; Saturday, April 22nd.
