A current Portage Terrier will be suiting up in NCAA Division 3 hockey next year.

Gabriel Laflamme will be taking his talents to Geneseo, New York, as he will be joining the Knights. Laflamme is currently in his final year of MJHL eligibility.

Through 47 games played this season, Laflamme has tallied 42 points, scoring 14 times while adding 28 assists. Prior to his time with the Terriers, Laflamme spent time in the Ligue de Hockey Collégiale du Québec and the Quebec Junior Hockey League.

Laflamme was recently selected as an MJHL Star of the Week for his play throughout week 17. His best performance on the stat sheet was against the Winnipeg Freeze on October 1st, where he scored a pair of goals while grabbing two assists for his only four-point night this season.

To this point in the season, the Geneseo Knights are 20-4-0 and are on a five-game win streak.

The Terriers will be back in action on Friday, February 16th, as they welcome the Winkler Flyers to Stride Place.
