If you're dealing with a chronic condition, the Central RHA has a program that may help.

It's called the Get Better Together program, and is a province-wide initiative. Austin and Carman will host sessions over six weeks in February and March, while a third is slated for Altona in April.

Healthy Living Facilitator Dianna Mesyeton-Neufeld feels this program is becoming more important because chronic conditions across the country are on the rise.

Meseyton-Neufeld notes the program's message is you can take control of your life and health. She adds while chronic pain is one of the program's main focuses, any type of ongoing condition also receives attention.
